Atelier Vogt
1999–2000
In the two-storey barn-like extension of his residential building, the client wanted to set up a separate studio for eurhythmy lessons, which could also be used temporarily as an apartment. We organized the desired space program as far as possible within the existing structures and designed changes, where they are unavoidable, in a rather inconspicuous way. Our aim was not to let the discrepancy between the barn and its new use become a conflict. We also wanted to generate interior spaces that, although unconventional as places to live and work, are rich in space that even custom-made new buildings rarely have at their disposal.
