Gion A. Caminada

In the town of Vals, which has recently become a tourist magnet, Gion Caminada was commissioned to adapt a hotel, which had already gone through a composite phase of renovation. Over the course of a century, the building was transformed from a Grand Hotel into a mountain hotel with decidedly folkloric features. Now its appearance has been transformed even more strongly as part of a further renovation, designed by Gion Caminada. It presents itself as a hospitable place, firmly anchored in the Here and Now, in every sense.
